Morning Pick-Me-Up

Psalm 67

Let the peoples praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You. – Psalm 67:3 & 5

This is a psalm of praise and worship, but also gives thanks to God for the many blessings He has provided. The psalmist begins by asking God to bless them and that God’s will would be known. Then he praises and worships God. He wants those people who know the Lord to have joy. Lastly, the promise of God – that He shall bless us.

This is a wonderful prayer for believers. It, like the Lord’s Prayer, is a blueprint for prayer and worship. It also gets me excited and ready to follow the Lord. Whether it is going to work or mowing the lawn, I know God will bless me as long as I trust Him.

Other Verses:

Titus 2:11
Ezekiel 34:27
